  • 200 g
    Grainy cream cheese
  • 150 ml
    Milk
  • 60 g
    Cheddar
  • 60 g
    Mozzarellas
  • 1 TSP
    Cornstarch
  • Salt & pepper
  • Chives

    Cook the pasta: The LiveFresh Cook the maccheroni in plenty of boiling salted water for approx. 9 minutes until al dente, then drain and set aside briefly.

    Prepare the cheese sauce: Heat the milk in a saucepan. Mix the cornflour with a little cold milk until smooth and add to the warm milk. Bring to the boil briefly until the sauce thickens slightly.

    Creamy base: Stir in the cream cheese and melt over a medium heat. Stir well until a creamy consistency is achieved.

    Stir in the cheese: Gradually stir in the cheddar and mozzarella until they are completely melted and the sauce is nice and creamy. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

    Fold in the pasta: Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and mix well so that all the pasta is coated with sauce.

    Serve hot: Sprinkle with freshly chopped chives and serve hot.
