Nutrients at the bottom of the bottle
If fresh juice is left to stand for a certain amount of time and is not shaken, some of it will settle to the bottom of the bottle. This part is called sediment. The sediment contains all the important vitamins, minerals and nutrients, while only the water, which is otherwise contained in the fruit or vegetable, settles in the upper part. This is because the substances mentioned above are heavier than water and therefore accumulate in the lower part. A quick shake of the bottle is enough to restore the original consistency in all parts of the container.
Emulsifiers and colorants - "helpers" of large-scale producers
The separation into sediment and water does not affect the quality of the juices in any way. And yet large-scale producers are trying to solve this "aesthetic problem". Emulsifiers - additives that permanently mix and stabilize different liquids - are added to the juices and eliminate this supposed problem. In addition, colorants are sometimes used as clouding agents. This simply means that chemicals are added to the juices completely unnecessarily.
Cold-pressed, without additives & vegan
Why change nutrient- and vitamin-rich products if you don't need to? We at LiveFresh are fans of natural products. That's why we cold-press our juices to retain all the important nutrients, vitamins and minerals. We also don't use any additives or sweeteners, so that you are provided with a healthy product from us.
Our tip: Next time you're shopping in the supermarket, see if you can find any juices with sediment and take a look at the labels of various juices. You'll be amazed at the list of additives.
As always, we therefore recommend our online store for a unique juice experience. And should a "two-tier society" ever form in our bottles: Shake it, baby!
